Each preset captures the essence of its analog counterpart:

The Halation Brush adds a realistic, controllable halation effect to bright points of light, neon signs, street lamps, car headlights and reflective surfaces — something Lightroom doesn’t offer natively.

How to use the Brush? Once the image is open, click on ‘Masking’; the Brush is already selected. Simply paint over the areas where you want the halation effect.

Please note that depending of the light conditions of your images, your camera settings and personal style, these presets may need to be slightly adjusted (exposure, shadows, grain).
