The Art of Remembering Through Photography.
How It All Began
My love for photography started when I was around 12 years old, using my father’s camera to capture everyday moments around my neighbourhood. Fascinated by the world through a lens, I soon received my first camera—an Argus Giant Achiever, a cherished piece that sparked my lifelong passion.
A Lifelong Passion for Photography
Photography has always been a way for me to tell stories and express my perspective. Although I couldn’t fully commit to it early on, my passion never faded. In 2016, I took the next step and bought an Olympus EM-10 Mark III, later upgrading to the Mark II and eventually to my current camera, a Sony A7III.
From Landscapes to Street Photography
My early focus was on landscape photography, capturing stunning scenes while hiking in Hong Kong and across Asia. Some of my favorite trails included Lion’s Rock, Kowloon Peak, Suicide Cliff, Plover Cove Reservoir, Pat Sin Leng, Lantau Peak, Sunset Peak, and Ma On Shan.
Over time, my passion evolved toward street photography. Living in China deepened my appreciation for urban life, inspiring me to document the energy of cities like Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Taipei, and Tokyo. The dynamic streets of Mongkok, Prince Edward, Yau Ma Tei, and Quarry Bay became my creative playground, where I captured raw, everyday moments.
Where I Am Today
Now based in Madrid, Spain, I continue to pursue photography while balancing other commitments. I sell my work through Etsy and take custom orders, collaborating with local businesses to promote photography and visual storytelling.
Though still a part-time endeavor, my goal is to make photography my full-time career. Each image I capture brings me one step closer to that dream, and I’m excited to continue sharing my vision with the world.
